Morwenstow Methodist Church

Welcome to Morwenstow Methodist Church, also known locally as Shop Chapel.

• Except for other special services in the Parish, we hold Sunday worship each week at 11.00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to join us for our services, which will include singing, prayers and scripture reading, as well as a few other items. The services will be about 40 minutes in length, and coffee/tea will then be available whilst we share a time of conversation.
• On the third Wednesday of each month, we serve a hot lunch to which all are warmly invited. Please check ‘Hamlets’ and the parish noticeboards for details of the next event.
• Our music group, The Merrytones, sing a wide range of songs, and now normally meet on Saturday afternoon from 2.30 to 3.45 p.m. They perform at some of our services and welcome new members. Contact Edith or Bill Cleave on 012288 331397 or email,   billcleave@hotmail.co.uk
• Unfortunately, we had to close our Sunday Club at the start of the pandemic. We are now beginning to welcome the children of St Mark’s (our local primary school) back into our Chapel for special events.
• The Wesley Room is available to hire.
